As an adhesive for tablets and granules, it can be achieved by wet, dry granulation, or direct tablet pressing methods. In most cases, its dosage is 2-5% of the total amount of the preparation, usually around 3%, and the concentration of the adhesive is generally 5-10%. According to different substances and excipients, water, hexanol, isopropanol, etc. can be used as solvents. When using the direct tablet pressing method, the dosage is generally around 5%. Lactose, sorbitol, mannitol, microcrystalline cellulose, etc. can be used as excipients, but attention should be paid to controlling the moisture content in the ingredients to maintain appropriate adhesion.
As a film coating, this product is often used in combination with cellulose derivatives, shellac, and high molecular weight polyethylene glycol to improve the strength of the film, regulate its flexibility and solubility; Generally, it is not necessary to add ester plasticizers.
When applied to the isolation layer coating of water sensitive drug cores, the cores can be heated to 30-40 ℃ first, and then sprayed with a 10% non-aqueous solution of the product (ethanol, isopropanol, ethyl acetate or acetone), with a general spraying amount of 0.4mg/cm2.
