Description
Four varieties of crospovidone, each with a different peroxide level and particle size, are available from Ashland. The typical particle sizes of Ultraa and XLa are 110–140, and their maximal peroxide contents are 30 ppm and 400 ppm, respectively. Particle sizes for Ultra-10b and XL-10b range from 25 to 40 on average, with restrictions on peroxide content of 50 ppm for Ultra-10b and 400 ppm for XL-10b. Compared to XL series, Ultra series allows for a lower peroxide content due to their higher quality needs.
