4. Emulsion polymerization:
The NVP monomer is dispersed into an emulsion under the action of an emulsifier for polymerization.

The product has a small particle size and good stability.
5. Synthesis of cross-linked polyvinylpyrrolidone:
Prepared by a special polymerization process (such as popcorn polymerization).
Alkali metal hydroxide and a cross-linking agent are used to heat the reaction under nitrogen protection.
The product has a porous structure and high water absorption.
